hey all,
we’re back from an exciting weekend down at bass lake. our friend and one of kara’s bridesmaid’s, nicole (who is a total bad-ass, i might add. superstar long distance runner), is having a baby on owen’s original due date (june 16th) and we went down to her shower in fresno. it was really weird being back, having gone to school there and all. the city exploded in development — there’s malls on every corner and what-not. it was cool, frightening and sentimental all at the same time. we didn’t have the courage to go by the campus though.
i’m working on changing the site around a bit — going to integrate the little sidebar off to the left there with the rest of the site so that we have an ‘integrated’ look. that, however, requires freetime and i don’t have much of that at the moment.
in owen news, he’s crawling like crazy right now. you can’t keep him in any one place for long. he does have this awesome new game though where he crawls away from you, sits up and looks back and then takes off in the opposite direction. you can say things to him like ‘i’m gonna get you!’ and he giggles and crawls faster. it’s super cute.
and, we think he’s learned how to high-five. it’s a good start, mind you, but i’m waiting for the metal horns.
