original little hellraisers

hey all,

quick little update to let you know that we added some new photos for owen and snapped a few pictures of our nearly finished backyard! this is huge for kara and i as we’ve spent 9 years in this house without a backyard and now we finally, finally have something we can use. here’s the latest photo:

now, the thing to notice is that the spot on the right with the long strip of grass is actually a long bench/couch. we’re going to install outdoor speakers outside as well so we can listen to music while we’re hanging out back.

the areas behind both benches are planters that we’re going to be planting stuff in. and the area to the left, the last remaining dirt patch is going to be another planter.  basically any exposed wood is a planter.

and we need to drag the bbq from the garage upstairs to the backyard.  and then we need to setup the table and chairs we have as well. here is my saturday: drinking beer out back and laying on the grass couch. kara says it will be raining, i guess i will still drink beer then.  here’s a picture of the backyard at night.
