there’s more of us than we thought. recently, and i’ll admit, i was a bit on the boozed-up side of things, i found out that someone had registered chowanec.com — who are these imposters?, i thought. who could these people be, taking my last name and running amok with it all over the internets. surely, this is just some parked domain that is banking on our incredibly popular last name as a search term.
how dare they…
…but no, actually, this guy aron runs the site about his side of the clan. i found out that aron’s father’s name is john as well, so at least we can confirm they have good taste. go check it out and say hello if you’re another chowanec. you see, the patron of my family had the foresight to register chowanec.org, and as you can see, we’ve made the most of it. either way, aron and i have spoken, and world domination will begin soon.
