original little hellraisers

dylan had his 2 month check up tuesday with his first round of shots.  he screamed like a banshee and then did that thing with all the short little breathes because he was crying so hard.  it’s really pathetic sounding and really cute at the same time.  sorry little buddy.

he’s growing well, his stats are basically the same as owen, but with a bigger head.  owen’s head was in the 10th percentile for a long time, now it’s 25th. 

dylan’s stats:

height: 22.5 inches, 50th percentile

weight: 10lbs 11oz,   25th percentile

head: some weird measurement, 35th percentile

we can’t figure out who he looks like yet, but he sure acts like his father.  he loves to talk and will protest if you look away.  he always has his hand in his mouth (foot for john, but close enough) and have i mentioned his poops, they are major (yes john, you missed the memo). 

he loves to cover his face when he sleeps. during the day he pulls the blanket over his eyes.  i don’t dare let him do this at night, but since he’s mainly napping in his bouncy seat on the dining room table i let him.  i swear he’s like a parrot, cover his eyes and he’s out.  at night, i’ll find him covering his eyes with his arm.  he’s also starting to sleep longer stretches.  he’s been giving me 5 to 6 hours for a couple weeks now, but last night he slept from 9:30 to 5am, fed and then back to sleep until 9am.  fantastic!  i hoping this sleeping trend continues.
