bros for life
i can already tell that owen and dylan are going to be great friends and close brothers. dylan watches every move owen makes, laughing and smiling at him, inviting him in the only way he knows how, to play. owen has always been a great brother, he looks after dylan as much as i do. if dylan starts to cry, he’ll run over to check on him saying “buddy, buddy, buddy. don’t cry. it’s okay.” he’ll try giving him a pacifer, rock him and talk to him reassuring him he’s okay.
today, i left (i know, bad mama!) owen and dylan in the backyard to go grab something from inside. i hear owen scream and then yell “mama!”. i rushed down the stairs to see owen running to the door. he yells “spider!” i ask him “where?” he says “on dylan!”. i go over to dylan, who is just chillin in his bouncy chair and right in the center of his forehead is a mosquito, which i don’t think actually bit him. i could tell owen was so proud of himself for knowing what to do, he kept saying “i called you, i called you.”
i think owen is really starting to enjoy having a little brother. they can do a few things together with some assitance from mama, but owen really trys to include dylan in everything he does. i love watching the two of them interact and look forward to watching them grow up together.

so sweet!
just when i was thinking that i didn’t know if marc and i could actually do this all again – you had to go and post something like that!
how could you even think of not sharing the happiest baby ever with a younger brother or sister (i know marc, you blases only make boys)
Okay, that video of Dylan rocking himself in his bouncy seat is hilarious! They are both so cute. Aimee, are you going to have your kids 18 months apart???
