seriously?! what the f*ck?!
someone chopped the succulents in the front yard! who does that? it’s not like they even trimmed it nicely. they took a big f*cking hole out of the center of the large succulent that was in the pot and just straight up took the whole plant that was in the window planter box. seriously?! i’m pissed!
okay so the good part of this story… i have the sweetest boys ever i can’t be mad. we pull up into the drive way after a trip to trader joes and i notice the crime that has been committed against us. here’s how it played out:
kara: pulling into the drive way what the f*ck!
owen: calmly what’s wrong?
kara: someone chopped our plants!
owen: let me see? why the people do that?
kara: unloading car furiously i don’t know
owen: don’t be mad.
kara: i’m not mad at you. i’m mad at the people who cut our plants. calls john and goes on a rant about what happened.
owen: don’t be mad. make funny faces like this. makes funny face
kara: smiles thank you owen. i love you. picks dylan up
dylan: looks at me seriously, puts his hands on my cheeks and gives me the softest, sweetest kiss on the cheek.
kara: tears up. smiles.
and owen just put himself down for a nap. we’ll see if he actually sleeps, but i love my boys!
you have the inherently nicest, sweetest, ‘lovingest’ boys one can ever hope for. they take away the irritations of the world! what a blessing!!!
the crime is SHOCKING! but, your boys are AMAZING.
How little ones can put things in focus at the time when you need it.
