what the kids are up to these days…
owen…
- still loves preschool. gives his teacher’s hug’s, talks about his friends and now participates in circle time
- is a big conversationalist with a big imagination.
- loves traveling and is a good traveler.
- brave. he’s mastered getting on and off the escalator.
- is not napping. at least not everyday, i’m trying to get him to nap every other day because he still needs it.
- still clean, neat, silly and whiny (again not napping)
dylan…
- trying to talk. he’s got all kinds of words with a dylan accent of course. newest words: pretty, grampa, nana, fish, cookie, dance and go go.
- favorite thing to say is “go, go” which is often directed to me to “go, go” away so he can practice his walking outside.
- has pooped in the potty 3 days in a row now! he used to run/crawl away from me when i asked him if he was pooping. now he points at his butt. really funny.
- walking about 80% of the time.
- dialed 911. yes actually dialed 911. they called back and said they heard child voices and was checking if everything was okay and if no one had answered the phone they would have sent a car out. woops!
- still messy, silly, rambuncious, adorable and a pain, a loving pain
aaaaah. cute! miss you all.
no matter what, ‘whiny, loving pain, silly, rambunctious, messy’, these 2 boys are adorable. they are worth the love. i love them both and miss them too much.
I agree with Lola, they are the joy of our lives and well worth the little pains.
I think they are both pretty close to perfect at least as our grandchildren. But of course grandparents can say that.
