lola’s journal day 2

Second day journal:  December 30, 2009

Both boys woke up at 6 a.m.  And I AM GUILTY of spoiling kid #2 ! ! !

Dylan aka the tag along:

Dylan went to bed last night at 8:30 after his bath in the big tub.  He likes the tub better than the laundry sink.  At 11 o’clock, he woke up crying; hugged him a bit and put him down only to wake up at 2 p.m. looking for mama dear.  He could not be contained so I took him to my bed and we slept together until 6 a.m. He was a restless little one, trying to find a comfortable position.  At one point, he was sleeping with his butt up, just like his mama when she was at this age.  Or did he get it from Daisy with her butt up to get attention?  (Sue Lola!  and visit me while I am in jail.  However, bring the kids!).

Early this morning,  Dylan aka Linus is dragging his blanket going from room to room looking for mama. “Mama, where are you?”  and then with no response from Mama, he called, “Papa. where are you?”  And thank you again, Daisy for being there to my rescue!  Breakfast was half a bagel and watermelon.

Owen:

After Legoland, Owen did not eat his supper last night, came home at 5 p.m. asleep, just had his milk and continued on to sleep until 6 a.m.  Not a peep came from him when he woke up.  Opened his door, went to the bathroom and asked Uncle Johnnie to turn on his program.  WHAT A BIG MATURE THREE YEAR OLD, he is!  I gave him his milk fix and he asked for crackers.  After he finished that he had a bagel, a watermelon stick and 3 doughnuts.

Owen is a real trooper.  He tells Dylan that Papa and Mama went to the airport.

At 11 a.m. we went to this small petting zoo in the area that my neighbors were telling me about only to find out it seemed deserted, so we ended up in the store to buy milk and cheeseburger and fries for the boys.  After lunch, I thought of taking the boys to the nearby children’s park, but it rained.  So they ended up watching “Wall-E”.

Afternoon came with Uncle Johnnie and the boys having fun being rowdy as boys can be. As I shoot this mail, Uncle Johnnie is changing Dylan’s diapers and getting him ready to bed.

Tomorrow, we plan to go to Sea World.  We hope the weather is good as predicted.  Take care and have fun.  The boys are adjusting beautifully.
