(6:50pm): checked into cpmc — went to the old ob checkin. they’re remodeling, we had to walk around the hospital. thank god kara isn’t in active labor. she would have been pissed.

we think the baby ‘dropped’ as they put it. marc and aimee were here waiting for the: ‘holy crap, it’s on!’ sort of signal so we could all leap into action and take kara to the hospital.

so… k-jo went to the doctor today to find out that the baby cannon is 1cm and she’s 20% effaced. this little one might be here sooner than we expected?
kara went to the hospital this wek for four hours to get tests to see if she has gestational diabetes. evidently it is fairly common in pregger people, but definitely wasn’t something she had with owen. maybe this has something to do with my previous post about her love of oreo cookies and ben and [...]
so… this is awesome. kara is craving beer. to understand kara’s relationship with beer, you have to go back to college. she hated it. and i mean wouldn’t kiss me on the lips hated it. even the fruity beers that sam adams used to make. she hated those too.

hey everyone. now that the sunday is over — we’re on track to follow sequel through the stages that owen went through. we’re trying to keep a week-for-week account so that there will be pictures taken in the same window as owen. it’s shaping up to be a totally different pregnancy.
